This seamless hexagonal pattern was made from 4 separate components; arrangements of 61 colored rods that were arranged together into images, then pulled down. These 4 components were coldworked, cut up into small sections and then divided into another array of 61 components and pulled down to create the hexagonal image. These coins are a bit larger than a quarter; probably about the size of a silver dollar.
